Farming- the grasslands is being divided into farm land resulting in animals having no way to move around because of human structures and ecosystems being destroyed. Farmers will also set fire to grasslands to get rid of the vegetation growing so that they can plant crops for consumption. This results in species dying of starvation because the farmer had burned their food source. This could potentially collapse an entire ecosystem if enough animals go extinct or die off in an area.

Poaching- In the African Grasslands, the Rhino and the Elephants are killed only for their tusks. They cut out the tusks and leave the animal to die and then rot away without giving it a second thought. Shouldn't the animals life be more valuable then its tusks? apparently not because both Elephants and Rhinos are endangered species because of hunting and poaching. By poaching in the grasslands, the animals that benefit from Rhinos and Elephants could also be effected because of the dwindling populations of them both. Overall, poaching is a terrible act and leaves innocent animals to die just because their natural tusks and horns are worth money.
